Mjovadalr Encounters

 This area is a flooded Swamp. The roots of the trees grow together In a dense map and thick underbrush hides snakes and other venomous creatures.

Swamp Encounter Table. For every 1 Hour spent in the swamps, roll 1d6.

1: 1d2 dire vultures circle overhead and attack any party of less than 3 people.

2: 1d4 poisonous snakes erupt from the underbrush and attack. (Animal handling dc10 to avoid.)

3: The entrance to Mjovadalr

4: an Oblex wandering around taking the appearance of 1d4+1 Goliaths harvesting wood like a small lumber mill and is aggressive if you approach one of the Goliaths

5: a small risen mound of earth , clear of the water. This is a safe and dry place to rest.

6: a deep pool of turbulent water, 1d4 merrow lurk in its depths and attack anyone who enters. Players that turn back and lose an hour can avoid this combat.

7: a water weird attacks from a puddle nearby. 

8: a lost lamb in need of rescue (animal handling dc14 to tame)

1: 1d2 Giant snake (constrictor)

2: 1d2 Giant Elk

3: 1d2 Twig Blights

4: 1d4 Giant frogs

5: 1 giant crocodile

6: 1d2 lizard folk

Swamp Harvest table, Nature check DC 15. Roll 1d4

1: quicksilver root

2: 1d4 Ground Mint (Heals 1 Hp)

3: 1d2 gnomes bear moss (resistance to poison for one hour when consumed.)

4: 1d2 purple mushrooms (worth20gp)
